Sterling processes hazard claims exclusively for investors and servicers in order to avoid any potential conflicts of interests with borrowers. However, Sterling is happy to partner with its clients to create borrower outreach solutions to reduce the stress and frustration of the claims process.
Sterling welcomes the opportunity to provide auditing and/or quality assurance services for clients to ensure maximum recoveries are received on claims that have been filed and that insurable claims are not being overlooked. We also provide policy review and coverage evaluation.

Prior to founding Sterling Claims Management, Jami served as Senior Vice President of Client & Operational Development at Dimont & Associates, Inc., where she spent over 18 years specializing in a wide range of operational functions including, claims adjusting, carrier relations, client care oversight, client implementations, client audit management and the development of proprietary processes and procedures for specialty claims adjusting and QA functions.
Her talent and unsurpassed knowledge have made her a well-known and sought after industry expert where she's led educational sessions for industry organizations across the country, including the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association's Loan Servicing Conference and the California Mortgage Bankers Association's Loan Servicing Conference.
Jami holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from San Diego State University and is a licensed public insurance adjuster in 44 states.

We have immediate openings for the following positions:
Will file and negotiate claims directly with the insurers. Will scope settlement letters and other functions in connection with settlements and denials. Reviews reports as well as photos to determine insurable damage, review denial letters, generate any supplemental or rebuttal needs, prepare proof of loss/mortgagee questionnaires, and other duties as assigned. Public Adjusters preferred. Will need to pass exam and maintain a Public Adjuster license.
Will provide administrative support for the claims process. Research claim information, support claims adjusters, review damage reports and provide other administrative support. Data entry, notify carrier of claims, assign carrier/adjuster when applicable. Update changes to policy or coverage information, process claim acknowledgments, support adjusters and other duties as assigned.
Will provide support for the claims process with reviewing damage reports, weather reports, police reports, etc. to make initial insurable damage determinations, data entry and document the file accordingly.
